Director
Taahir Sarguro is a writer-director based in Cape Town. He studied at AFDA from 2018 to 2023, earning both his undergraduate and honours degrees. His films have screened at festivals worldwide and opened the door to his work in commercials. Since then, he’s written, directed, and edited short films, TV pilots, and branded content for clients including Checkers, Snapscan and Volkswagen.
Though experienced across formats, Taahir’s heart lies in fiction. His work explores themes of faith, community, and identity—seeking fresh, emotionally resonant ways to reflect the world around him.

Amina Booley is a producer with a passion for storytelling rooted in community and heritage. Graduating with honours magna cum laude, she began her career in feature film development with Gambit Films, where she honed her sharp eye for narrative and structure. Amina brings a calm, grounded presence to every production, expertly balancing creative ambition with practical execution. With a deep respect for both budget and story, she approaches every project with thoughtfulness and finesse.

Parveen Banderker is an experienced producer and production manager with over 14 years of experience in the film and television industry. Working across films, longform, commercials and documentaries, she brings a deep and intuitive understanding of the production process, from development through to final delivery.
Known for a calm, solutions-driven approach on set and behind the scenes, she has built a reputation for managing complex productions with precision. Parveen thrives in the creative tension between logistics and storytelling, with the belief that structure and processes support the best possible outcome for artistic expression.

Zaheer Banderker is a seasoned filmmaker whose career spans production and post-production across all video formats. With a foundation in Sound Design, Zaheer brings a distinctive sensibility to storytelling - one that listens as carefully as it looks. His deep understanding of sonic texture and rhythm allows him to craft work that feels alive both visually and emotionally.
